I want you to be happy with any item that you purchase from us. Any unworn stock item can be returned for an exchange or full refund. Any product found to be defective will be repaired, replaced, or refunded. Sorry, but custom ordered boots can not be returned.
Carter’s Cobbler Shoppe, Inc. was created in 1994 by Jeff and Lisa Carter as a small boot and shoe repair shop. Jeff has more than 30 years of experience in boot sales and repair. Over the years, we have grown to become a nationally recognized retail center for western style cowboy boots.
At Carters we strive to provide the best quality product at the most reasonable price. Our first priority is to serve our customers to the highest level of satisfaction possible. All of our products are sold with a quality assurance guarantee. We look forward to answering any questions you may have and helping to select the boot thats just right for you.

To Return an Item – Please clean and repack your return for shipping. Fill out the return form on the back of your packing slip and include it with your merchandise. If you misplaced your packing slip please include a note including your name, address, telephone number, and reason for the return. Choose the shipper of your choice and return to our shipping address. Insure the package and keep the receipt until your order has been processed. Sorry, but we can not accept COD returns.
Exchanges – Please fill out the exchange information on the back of the packing slip when returning your merchandise. If you would like to expedite your exchange, contact customer service and place a new order for the merchandise you would like to receive. We will need to charge you for the new order but if you mention that it is a replacement order, we will waive the outgoing shipping charge. If you decide to order exchange merchandise seperately, be sure to specify that you would like a refund when you send your merchandise back.
Shipment Times – Orders normally ship out the next business day. We offer several expedited shipping options. All estimated arrival times are based on business days plus one (the day we received the order). If you provide us with an e-mail address, you will receive shipment verification with tracking information via e-mail.
Backorders – We make every effort to keep all of the items that we offer in stock, but ocassionally, we are temporarily out of stock. When this occurs, we will notify you of the backorder, and make every effort to ship your order as soon as possible. We will not automatically cancel your order unless you ask us to.
