Carter's Boots And Repair

I recently stopped there in Bozeman looking for brown firefighter boots. It is getting increasingly more difficult to find White's. Your staff sized me up and got my boots ordered. I was hoping to get them before I got back to North Dakota but you sent them to my house. They arrived today. My zippers are in them and they are ready to go.

I want to thank you and your staff for helping me out. It was an absolute pleasure interacting with you folks. I'm very particular about my boots after 22 years as a fireman. Your staff was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

Hi Jeff, 

I love the Kenetrek Boots, they are second to none. The smaller model did rub my legs a bit as they are right in the rotating area of your ankle. After a week they didn't bother me at all! I have been able to grip rocks that before I would slide off of (I mean huge steep rocks). Thank you for the recommendation! The service at Carters boots is the best I have found, I will do all my business with you from this point forward.

What I needed was a little padding to buffer a slamming door. When fate delivered me to Carter's, I was embraced by the home-spun atmosphere, was introduced to the insulated pack boots I've been wanting, felt like I'd made a new friend with the owner, learned all about English bridle leather, got what I needed, and spent one buck. Find a reason this season to go in there and buy something, would ya?

We were visiting Bozeman and I had been looking for someone to repair my hand made western belt. I had seen them on line so we went to the store and I Met Jeff. We agreed on the price and I left and headed back to Denver. It took longer to repair my belt than either Jeff or i thought but when I received it back, the Lacing was perfect and the repair where the buckle attaches was amazing. Thank you and your team so much Jeff!!!!

I gave my boots to Jeff Carter when I came in; he explained very well why he couldn't do what I wanted and suggested stretching. I picked them up a week later and can I just say... this is the first time my Frye boots have been easy to get on and comfortable! I'm amazed and grateful and wanted to thank the store. I'II be back for custom made boots and will def recommend the store.
