Construction on these boots is top notch, especially considering the price. Compare Hondo boots (made in Mexico) with Chisos (made in Mexico) and Hondo value blows Chisos out of the water. Perfect example is the boot shaft lining. On Hondos the stitching goes through the lining, stitching the outer shaft leather to the lining leather. On Chisos, they don't. Assuming they just glue the lining to the outer shaft leather. This is a detail these other newer boot companies (Chisos, Hyer, Tecovas) miss. The rest of the Hondo boots just show more of the build quality the others don't. Hondos been doing it that was since the 1960s.
