First of all, I want to thank Carter’s Boots and Shoe Repair for their excellent advice on sizing and for having this amazing boot in stock. This is my first pair of Hondo boots, and after watching multiple YouTube reviews, I knew I wanted a traditionally made boot.

I’m used to wearing handmade boots from various brands, and I went with a size 9D, which is my Brannock size. I’ve tried other boots at Boot Barn, but the quality and fit didn’t impress me. These Hondo boots, however, exceeded my expectations.

At 14 inches tall, they might seem a bit much, but the leather is so soft that you barely notice the height. The fit is amazing, and the arch support is excellent. If you have wide feet, I’d recommend going a bit wider but still sticking close to your true size.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!
